SCAN Centre at IIT Bombay’s Annual CSR Conclave 2025 | 6th June 2025

At the Annual CSR Conclave 2025 hosted by IIT Bombay, the SCAN Centre proudly showcased its vision for a healthier, tech-enabled India. Centered around the theme “Fueling Technology for Nation Building,” the conclave brought together thought leaders, innovators, and CSR champions to explore how technology can create lasting social impact. SCAN Centre presented two breakthrough technologies at the event—both aimed at transforming how India detects and manages neurodegenerative diseases:

NeuroScan360: A first-of-its-kind AI-driven platform for the early screening of neurodegenerative disorders, NeuroScan360 combines cognitive, motor, sensory, and postural assessments into interactive game-based tasks. Designed for clinician-independent use, it offers real-time telemonitoring, remote access, and personalized insights, making it ideal for large-scale, community-level screening of the aging population.

Blood Test for Parkinson’s: SCAN also unveiled a minimally-invasive blood test for the early and accurate detection of Parkinson’s Disease. Simple, standalone, and cost-effective, this test helps distinguish Parkinson’s from other neurological conditions—making timely diagnosis more accessible than ever.

Together, these innovations reflect SCAN Centre’s commitment to harnessing technology for societal good—bringing cutting-edge neuroscience closer to the people who need it most.
