The Sunita Sanghi Centre of Aging and Neurodegenerative Diseases (SCAN), IIT Bombay, is delighted to announce a Bioentrepreneurship Lecture by Dr. Gergely Tóth, CEO, CSO, and Founder of Cantabio Pharmaceuticals.
This lecture will introduce science students and researchers to the fundamentals of the biotech business ecosystem—covering financing strategies, innovation drivers, and the evolving global trends in bioentrepreneurship. Dr. Tóth will also discuss the translation of scientific discoveries into viable biotech ventures, offering valuable insights for aspiring bio-entrepreneurs.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Gergely Tóth (PhD, MBA) leads Cantabio Pharmaceuticals, a preclinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel precision therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases. He also serves as an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London, with extensive experience in neurodegenerative research, drug discovery, and biotech leadership.
